Starting at the Iconic Mt Baldy Historic Restaurant

We began the session at the Mt Baldy Historic Restaurant, a beloved local landmark full of rustic character and warm, nostalgic charm. The vintage details, cozy patio areas, and surrounding pine trees created an effortlessly romantic setting for our first set of portraits. Whether the couple was laughing over a quiet moment at a table or strolling along the historic paths, the location gave us so many natural, authentic moments to work with.

From there, we took a relaxed photo walk through the area, discovering hidden little spots tucked between the trees and historic buildings. As the afternoon light began to soften, we made our way to a nearby sunset spot with one of the most incredible panoramic views of the valley below. Positioned right on the ledge, the couple was framed against sweeping mountain ridges and a glowing sky that shifted from warm golds to soft pinks and oranges. The natural ledge created dramatic yet intimate compositions, with the vast valley stretching out behind them like a private movie set.
